Edgewood, Ia.-Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Irving Scott, 62, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Platt Funeral Home, Manchester, in charge of Louis Brandt, of Garnavillo. Burial was in the Manchester Cemetery.

As Charlotte Chettinger, she was born Aug. 29, 1881, at Garnavillo, Ia., the daughter of John and Elizabeth Chettinger. She attended school at Elkader and Guttenberg and was for several years a teacher in the rural schools of Clayton County.

On June 5, 1907, she was married to Irving W. Scott, at Edgewood. Mr. Scott preceded her in death in October, 1941.

They were the parents of five children all of whom survive, John I. Scott and Beryl Scott of Dundee, Ia., Mrs. Earl Gleason, of Edgewood, T-4 Fay N. Scott, U.S. Army, overseas, and Pfc. Clair J. Scott, USMCR in California. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Jeanne Scott, of Dundee, and two sisters, Mrs. George Auer, of Garnavillo, Mrs. W. P. Keehner, Guttenberg, and two brothers, Le Roy Chettinger, Manchester, and George Chettinger, Littleport.

She died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gleason in Edgewood, with whom she has made her home for the past three years.
