Jasper H. "Jack" Crane, 81, Route 2, Litchfield, Ill., died Monday in the Litchfield hospital. He moved to Litchfield from Cedar Rapids 15 years ago. While in Cedar Rapids he worked for Link-Belt Speeder.
He was married to Bethel Pierce Wilcox on Feb. 7, 1957, in Manchester, Iowa. In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons, Leonard and Raymond Crane, both of Dubuque; Robert of Springville and Edwin of St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Smith of Liberty, Mo., and Delores Perry of Delhi; three stepsons, Orren and James Wilcox, both of
Litchfield, and Eugene Wilcox of Greenville, Tenn.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Carol Hale, Gibsonton, Fla., Mrs. Marlene Blackwell and Mrs. Teddy Edmonds, both of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Libby Shafer, Valley Springs, S.D., and Mrs. Delsie Else, Worthington, Minn., 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 18 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.
Services: Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Meinschein Funeral Home in Litchfield with burial at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.
