Mrs. Henry Recker
Monticello, Ia.

Services for Mrs. Henry Recker, 71, who died Friday at John McDonald Hospital here after a long illness, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Devaney Funeral Home to Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Recker was born Aug 22, 1883, at Petersburg, Ia., daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Willemborg. As Rose Willemborg, she was married to Henry Becker on Feb. 14, 1905. They farmed near Petersburg and later at Sand Springs, retiring to Monticello in 1945. She was a member of Sacred Pearl Church and its Rosary Society.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter Mrs. Joe (Marie) Morrman of Greeley; six sons, Raymond of Bernard, Ernest of Monticello and Florian, Gilbert, Irvin and Gerald, all of near Sand Springs; three sisters, Mrs. John Sudmeier and Mrs. Frank Burkle, both of Dyersville, and Mrs. Clem Recker of Alta Vista, three brothers, Ben and Herman Willemborg both of Dyersville, and George of Petersburg, 38 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded by a sister, a brother, and a son in infancy.
