Randall Dean Ross, 62, of Manchester, Iowa, died on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Central Community Hospital in Elkader, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. No funeral services were held but visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. September 6, 2012 at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory in Manchester, Iowa.

Randall Dean Ross was born on August 29, 1950, in Iowa City, the son of William A. and Mary (Timmerman) Ross. Randy was raised and educated in the Manchester area, attending Manchester school.

Randy was united in marriage to Diana Flannagan on June 9, 1973. They later divorced.

Randy worked in construction and also at the K & K Bake Shop helping his brother Harlan.

Randy’s hobbies were riding his bike, shooting pool, and fishing. He enjoyed his bird, Charlie Brown, and his cat, Samantha.

Survivors include 4 children, Bobbie Jo (Keith) March of Worthingon, Callie (David) Mangold of Manchester, Shawn O’Brien of Guttenberg, and Cody Letts of Masonville; two granddaughters, Chelsie and Hannah; 4 brothers, Gary (Elaine) Ross of Manchester, Harlan (Doris) Ross of Fort Dodge, Steve (Sandy) Ross of Manchester, and Rick (Sandy) Ross of Manchester.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents.
