Mr. Edward Quirk, of Sand Spring, died at his residence last Tuesday, the 26th inst., of old age. He was between 103 and 110 years old at the time of his death. The most authentic data in possession of the family goes to prove that he was no less than 103 years old, while many facts indicate that he was at least 110 years of age at the time of his death. One of his daughters was married on the very day of his death, consequently the house was soon turned from gladness into sorrow. His funeral will take place at Sand Spring today.
