Hazel M. Ellis, 81, of 1209 Memory Lane SE,
died Saturday in Mercy Medical Center, following a
long illness.
She was born May 14, 1907, in Robinson, and
married Charles Ellis May 16,1925, in Manchester. He died in 1956.

Survivors include seven sons, Richard of Winter
Park, Fla., Leo of Phoenix, Ariz., Raymond of San
Bernadino, Calif., and Charles, Donald, Gerald and
William, all of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Violet
Ketchum of Waco, Texas; a sister, Lucille Moss of
Cedar. Rapids; 30 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Brosh Chapel, by the
Rev. Jack Hooten. Burial: Silver Creek Cemetery, near Robinson.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established.
