Mrs. Preston Midkiff

Roxanna Dalrymple was born in Shelby County, Ohio, August 31, 1836 and passed away Sunday at the home of her son, John Midkiff, in this city at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 3 days. In 1855 she was united in marriage to Preston Midkiff, who predceeded her in death six years ago. Mrs. Midkiff is survived by two sons, John of Manchester, and George of Sioux Falls, and one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Akers of Ryan.
Mrs. Midkiff will be kindly remembered by her many Manchester friends and her death has called forth many expressions of regret.
The funeral services were held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Midkiff this (Tuesday) morning at 10:30. Rev. Springer, paster of the United Brethern Church of this city, officiated. Interment was made in the cemetery at Bay Settlement.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning for Mrs. Preston Midkiff, whose death occurred on Sunday, March 3, 1912, at the home of her son, John Midkiff. The Rev. Springer, pastor of the U. B. church, officiated at the services and burial was made in the cemetery at Bay Settlement.
The birthplace of Mrs. Midkiff was in Shelby County, Ohio, where she lived until coming to this county many years ago. Her age at her death was 73 years. The marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Midkiff took place in 1855. Mr. Midkiff died 6 years ago, and the wife and mother is survived by the following children; John of this city, George of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Mrs. Nancy Akers of Ryan.
Mrs. Midkiff was an earnest and devoted Christian woman whose death brings deep regret to her friends in Manchester and in the community of her former home south of the city.
