Edgewood: Mrs. Mertie Harriet Rickert, 81, of Edgewood died Saturday evening at her home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Appleton funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Lentz officiating. Interment was made in the Noble cemetery near Strawberry Point.
A daughter of Fredrick and Esther Schmidt, she was born June 15, 1891, on a farm near Strawberry Point. She was united in marriage to Ernest Rickert Feb 14, 1917, at Strawberry Point.
Mrs. Rickert is survived by one daughter, Erma Wold of Edgewood; one granddaughter, JoAnn Wold, and two brothers, Ralph and Floyd Schmidt, both of Strawberry Point.
