Funeral services were held for Louis Christ, 66, Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Goshen church in Millville. Burial was made in the Millville Cemetery. Mr. Christ was born May 8, 1974, at Rock Island, Ill. When he first moved to Iowa he was employed at the railroad shops in Oelwein. Later he was engaged in farming. His wife preceded him in death a few years ago. Mr. Christ passed away in Independence Friday morning, May 17, at the age of 66 years and nine days. He leaves to mourn, one daughter, Mrs. Will Manchester Jr. of Strawberry Point.
