Hartshorn - Anna C. Hartshorn was born May 11, 1858, at Davenport, Iowa; was united in marriage to Horatio A. Hartshorn in 1878. She became a member of the Reorganized Church by baptism February 11, 1893. On October 15 she passed from this life, leaving a husband and seven children to mourn her loss. She was a woman of sterling integrity, possessing a loving disposition that won her many warm friends, who mourn with the family by reason of her departure. The funeral was held from the saints chapel in Davis City, Elder F.B. Blair being in charge. Page 7 of The Lamoni Chronicle, published in Lamoni, Iowa on Thursday, October 16th, 1902
