Samuel Foland (1854-1932) and Sarah Belle Emley (1860-1910) were married February 2, 1879. Their [youngest] son Homer purchased this farm and lived there until two months before his death. Their granddaughter [Homer and Pearle's only child Norma G. (Foland) Becker], ....., lives there today [1981].

Homer Lowell Foland (1898-1963) and Pearle Veva Bramon (1898-1969) were married February 1, 1920. Their wedding took place at the home of her parents, Fred and Ella Bramon, near Delphos, Iowa. ....

NOTE: Samuel and Sarah Belle were interred at Wheelis Cemetery. Homer and Pearle were interred at Grand River Cemetery.
