Paris and Nancy Smith

Paris and wife Nancy lived in Davis county in the late 1800's and or early 1900's. They had a son Thomas H Smith who was an attorney in Harlan Iowa. Can anyone help with info on these people?
I am trying to determine if Paris fa. was a brother to my g/g fa. Noah Smith and wife Elizabeth. C.D.Smith
