John Nelson/Ida Erhart

I am looking for informaiton on John NELSON who married Ida ERHART at her father's house in Davis Co. They married 1 Mar 1888 at P.G. Erhart's house. They had one child (that I know of) Charles Raymond NELSON born 12 Nov 1888 in Belknap, Davis, Iowa. Ida died about 2 years later and Ray was left at the Erhart's to be raised. My question is: 1-When and where did Ida die. 2-What happened to John after her death - did he remarry, when did he die, where was he born and where did he go??
Any help would be nice.
