Peter Buller was born in Sunval, Halsinga Ian, Sweden, March 28, 1854 and passed away October 14, 1929 being at the time 75 years, 6months, and 16 days.

He was united in marriage to Christina Holmberg February 13, 1886. This union was blessed with twelve children, of whom nine are still living. One son William, died at the age of 3 years, a daughter Alva, passed away at the age of 3 months, and Ernest died while in service in France in 1919. Those living, who together with his beloved wife, are left to mourn his departure are Pearl, and Arthur of Kiron, Albin of Meadow, S.Dak., Mrs. Esther Flodine of Omaha, Mrs. Nettie Miller, Mrs. Julia Moorehouse and Mrs. Nina Quade of Kiron, Tenen of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Lee at home, and 15 grandchildren. He also leaves a large circle of relatives and a host of friends.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

Peter Buller was a trustworthy neighbor and friend, always ready to lend a helping hand to those about him, a highly esteemed citizen and a loving husband and father.

Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 and at 2:30 at the Mission church with Rev. Sodergren conducting the services. Special singing was rendered and the floral offerings were beautiful showing esteem and love for the departed. He was laid to rest in the community cemetery.
