FUNERAL IN ARTHUR

Arthur – Mrs. Reuben Carlson, 74, a former Arthur resident died 14 July 1976 at a Clarkfield, Minnesota hospital. Services were held 19 July 1976 at Clarkfield. July 20 services were conducted at the Evangelical Free Church in Arthur and burial was in the Hayes Township Cemetery. Christensen Funeral Home was in charge.

The former Esther Bergstrand was born 4 November 1901 in Worthington, Minnesota. She married Reuben Carlson 23 November 1958 in Minneapolis. He died in 1968. They farmed in Hayes township until retirement.

Mrs. Carlson moved to Kirkhoven, Minnesota in 1968. Two years ago she moved to a Nursing Home in Clarkfield.

Among the survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Leland Johnson of Clarkfield, Mrs. Vincent Tellgren of Mora, Minnesota, Mrs. Victoria Rody and Mrs. Lillian Storgoard, both of Minneapolis and a brother Stanley of Ventura.
