Last Thursday morning January 9th, the sad news was sent from the B.A. Samuelson home 4 1/2miles north of Kiron that Mrs. Samuelson had died at 10-30. The news was a shock to her friends that her illness of five days resulted in her death. She had been ill with the flu. She was 47 years and 25 days old at the time of death.

Christina Bergman was born in Hassela Socken, Hälsingland, Sweden December 14,1871 and at age 13 came with her parents to America, locating near Kiron. (Her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bergman). She married B.A. Samuelson and they were blessed with two children, Joseph and Olive. She accepted Jesus as her savior and remained faithful and true to the end. She leaves her husband, two children, two sisters and a brother to mourn her death.

Funeral services were held Saturday with burial in the Hayes Cemetery.
