FLOYD L. BERGMAN 1909 - 1989

Services were Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Odebolt for Floyd Bergman, 79, of Odebolt. He died 28 May 1989 and was buried in the Hayes Township Cemetery under the direction of Farber and Otteman Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Hotle officiating. Mr. Bergman died 28 May 1989.

Mr. Bergman was born 22 Sept 1909 in Ida County the son of Nels and Ida Elizabeth Bergman. He grew up on the family farm west of Odebolt and attended rural school. Following his school years, he continued to farm with his father. On 30 Jan 1933 he married Muriel Mary Blanche Daniels at Elk Point, SD. He worked for the H. J. Daniels Poultry Company for many years while farming near Ida Grove and Kiron. He also worked for the international Harvester Company in Odebolt. Mr. Bergman was a member of the Odebolt United Methodist Church, the United Methodist men, and the Odd Fellows Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Norman, and his wife Marcia of Ventura, California; three daughters, Mrs. Duane (Beverly) Einspahr and Emily Bergman, both of Odebolt and Mrs. Jim (Adrienne) Ang of Lancaster, California; three sisters, Elsie Lewis of Seattle, Washington, Ione Seaberg of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Doris Donaldson of Vista, California; three brothers, Donald Bergman of Arthur, Carl Bergman of Palm desert, California, and Gene Bergman of Kiron; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
