KIRON...Mrs. Irvin Johnson, the former Esther Anderson, daughter of Robert and Anna (Loomer) Anderson, was born in Crawford County February 20, 1894.

September 28, 1915, she married Pastor Irvin Johnson, who was pastor of the Evangelical Free church of Kiron. From Kiron they moved to Holdridge, Nebraska and Denver, Colorado, where Pastor Johnson died May 7, 1940.

Mrs. Johnson had been a resident at the Valley Hi Nursing Home for the past 2 and 1/2 years. She died March 11, 1973 at the age of 79 years.

Funeral services were held at the Moore Funeral Home in Denver with Rev. A. Kutz, pastor of the Belcano Evangelical Free Church officiating. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery.

Immediate survivors include a daughter, Mrs. LaVeda Chadwick, one son, Rev. Ruel Johnson of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her parents, two sisters, Birdie Anderson and Mrs. C. E. Johnson and one brother, Bert Loomer, preceded her in death.
