I am looking for any information concerning John and Sarah Bartlett who are listed in 2d ward of Clinton, Clinton Co., IA, 1870 census. John is listed as 25 years old, born in Ohio, working as a brakeman on the railroad. Sarah, his wife, is 20 years old, born in PA, and does sewing. According to the census which was taken on 19 August 1870, John and Sarah are listed as having married in May. The census taker also wrote out to the side that Sarah's husband had left her. I would particularly like to know Sarah's maiden name.
