Your uncle is Earl Charles Sherwood.
He was my grandfather who died when my dad was 13. He apparently got pneumonia while working on the highways. He and Grandma (Anna) had six children total. Three died as infants. So my dad, Norbert Francis Sherwood, grew up with one older sister, Lenore Iola - and one younger sister, Virginia (called Gin). Lenore was a teacher of special education children and stayed in the family home most of her life. My dad went to California after his Navy days and Virginia lived in Fresno and Bakersfield of CA. Lenore never married. Virginia had seven children with Forrest (called Duff) Cooper of whom 5 live in Fresno, one in Iowa City and one in Australia. I grew up with two younger sisters - Diana and Jane - in the San Francisco area. Jane died 2 yrs ago. Diana lives in Sparks, NV. She and her husband, Ben Beaubien of 50 years lived in Navato, CA for 30 years before retiring to Sparks. Ben died one day before Jane in Aug 2017.] I can trace back a few generations from Earl Charles if you want to stay in touch... otherwise, I hope I[ve added something for you.
