Looking for family of Helena (HANSEN) CARSTENSEN and young son John August Carstensen who immigrated from Denmark in 1854 to Scott, IA. Helena's husband died on trip over. She remarried a John JOHNSON and moved to Dresbach, MN in 1859. Surname was changed to CARSON probably by John August.
