I am looking for my LaFayette descendants in Clinton County. The LaFayettes were in Jackson County but appear to have moved. I know my father Albert John LaFayette (b. 1917)was born in or near Hurstville and they lived near Welton. They farmed in the area. My gfather was Albert LaFayette (b. 1880) married Katherine (Kate) Keiffer (b. 1880) in 1901. gfather was John LaFayette b. in Jo Daviess County Illinois and ggfather James LaFayette (b. 1789 in Vt or Canada) Looking for information on LaFayette and Kieffer surnames
