ZG:Johial Horton has a land patent issued 15 Dec., 1855, location: E 1/2 SW 1/4 Sec. 4, Twp. 81N. Rg 2E, Clinton Co., Iowa. He is shown in 1856 census (for Olive Twp.)as Jehiel W. Horton with wife, Ann. Also, in the two earlier state censuses, I think. I would like a copy of the transaction showing the sale of this land by Johial. If anybody can find this, I will pay charges. I cannot find Johial or wife Ann after the 1856 census. He is my 3great grandfather. Thank you
