My grandmother's parents were William J Shaver, b ~1869, Calamus; d 15 May 1947, Davenport,Iowa and Francis Wright, dob unk. Francis died in 1905 shortly (~ 12 days) after the birth of my grandmother, Rose Leona dob 4/12/1905. My grandmother and her brother, Arthur were put into Annie Whittenmeyer after their mother's death. I have found record of the children in the home, but have not been able to find a birth certificate, wedding certificate or death certificate for Francis. If anyone has any information about William and/or Francis I would love to hear from you. At this point, I am unable to confirm very little more than what I have written of here. Thank you to anyone who may be able to help.
