I believe you may be my cousin. My family has been trying to find the relatives of Johana Maria Fredricka Brandenburg who married Anton Francis Kreucher for many many many yrs. Please let me know what you know about the Brandenburgs. Did you hear of a sister named Johana? Tell me about Heinrich Stehr.. do you know what he did for a living? The reason I ask this is because our family folklore is that Marie .. or was her middle name Kate? or Katherine? that she was quite the character.. and used to stick out her tongue at people when they passed by. We also have been told that her husband may have been a policeman in Clinton.
This was just folklore of course, and so it could very well be attributed to other people that the Brandenburgs knew. I have a picture on my web site of the Brandenburgs.. this would be Marie's parents. Johana is there too with Anton Kreucher, her husband. I am anxious to talk with you!
