I have a Patrick Kennedy that settled in Newton Twp. Illinois and wondered if your John could be related. Patrick was married to Mary Crofton dau. of George Crofton and Margaret Burns. Both Patrick and Mary were born in Ireland but met and married in Whiteside Co.Il. Mc Fadden is also a name I've seen in Carroll Co.IL.
Any help would be appreciated!
