Estate of Jeremiah Bothwell

I have just obtained a copy of a letter, dated Sept. 17, 1898, from J.E. FINK, executor of the estate of Jeremiah BOTHWELL, notifying Jeremiah's heirs of a hearing to be held on Oct. 12, 1898, on FINK'S petition to sell "certain real estate belonging to said estate, described as lots fourteen (14) and fifteen (15) block two (2) in the original plat of the city of Clinton." I'd like to find out if there was a record of his death in Clinton, maybe an obituary notice in any of the local papers, and where he might have been burried (I have reason to suspect it was in Carroll Co., IL). I'd also like to get a copy of the probate/will. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.
