CLINTON — James R. “Jim” Corbisier, age 64, of Clinton, died Saturday Feb. 7, 2009, at Mercy North Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow the funeral services. Burial will be at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles, William, and Michael Corbisier, Paul Kissack, Charles and Christopher Creeley, Michael Kober and Michael Graf. Jim was born on Sept. 11, 1944, in Oshkosh, WI, the son of Ronald and Vernetta (Haen) Corbisier. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1967 during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Linda Leslie on May 28, 1993, in Clinton. He worked at E.I. Dupont (Beamis) as a machine operator for over 37 years, retiring in 2004. Jim enjoyed traveling, walking, bicycling, bowling, playing cards, golfing, reading and music. Jim is survived by his wife, Linda, of Clinton; five children, Charles (Becky) Corbisier of Preston, William (Shayla) Corbisier of Clinton, Kaylee (Paul) Kissack of Clinton, Melissa Corbisier of Sabula and Michael (Darla) Corbisier of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Leanne (Dick) Brooks of Berlin, WI.
