LINDMEIER, LINDMEYER, BREMER

The Clinton Herald Monday March 26, 1906 p. 6 John H. Lindmeier, an old resident of the county, passed away Saturday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry W. Bremer, in Spring Valley township. The deceased was born in Germany in 1836 and came to America when he was 20 years of age. In 1857 he came to Clinton county, settling in Hampshire township with his parents. He had followed the avocation of a farmer ever since in this county, with the exception of a few years when he lived in Lyons, on West Main street. Surviving the deceased are his wife, four sons, William of Lyons, and three, Otto, George and Henry at home, and three daughters, two, Misses Ella and Emma at home, and Mrs. Henry Bremer living in Spring Valley. The funeral will be held from the residence of H.W. Bremer at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, March 28.
