James L. Maney 1915 - 1986

The Clinton Herald Thursday July 10, 1986 p. 14 James L. Manley, 71, of 512 5th Ave. N., died Tuesday in his home. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Clinton Ministerial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Manley was born June 28, 1915, in Choctaw, Ala., to Percy and Clara Todd Manley. He married Grace H. Henson in 1947 in Culman, Ala. She died in December of 1983. Mr. Manley received his educaiton in Alabama and had lived in Clinton since 1966 where he was employed as a pipefitter. He was a member of Pipefitters Local No. 471. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Frazier of Waynesboro, Miss.; two sons, James W. and Richard, both of Clinton; six grandchildren, two sisters, Ruth May and Pauline Johnson, both of Mississippi; and a brother, Vernon, of Alabama. He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
