EDINA, Minn. — Roger Dale Huebner, age 77, of Edina, MN, formerly of Overland Park, KS, died January 7, 2009, surrounded by family. Roger was born October 31, 1931, in Preston, IA. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and a caring friend to many, always positive and attentive to the needs of others. He was preceded in death by parents, Jerry and Muriel Huebner; sister, Peggy Peifer; daughter, Dale-Ann Hibschle. He is survived by wife of 34 years, Kathy Huebner; stepchildren, Susie Cox, Sheri Malcom, and Brian Cox; son-in-law, Brent Malcom; grandchildren, Rachael Cox, Alison Hibschle, and Annie, Katie, and Willie Malcom. A memorial service was held January 15 at Normandale Lutheran Church, Edina, MN. Visitation and a prayer service for family and all friends will be held Sunday, January 25, 1:30-3PM at D. W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS, with the service at 2 PM officiated by Pastor Michael Peck of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Arrangements, D.W.
