LOW MOOR — Micah E. Housenga, infant son of Scott and Luciana Housenga of Low Moor, IA, died Monday Jan. 12, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Open Door, Clinton. Visitation will be held Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Cremation rites will follow the funeral service. Memorials may be given to the family. Micah was born on July 12, 2008, in Clinton, IA, to Scott and Luciana (McDonnell) Housenga. He will always be loved and remembered by his parents, Scott and Luciana Housenga; two sisters, Sabine Housenga at home and Yasmeen Housenga of Reeseville, WI; a brother, Quinn Housenga of Reeseville, WI; his grandparents, Randy and Phyllis Housenga of Clinton, Lucia McDonnell and Steve McDonnell both of Clinton; his great-grandparents, Cora Lawlor, Jackie Housenga, and Gloria McDonnell all of Clinton; aunts and uncles, Chris and Karlene McDonnell of Iowa City, Luke McDonnell of Low Moor, Jessica McDonnell of Bettendorf, Brian and Barb Housenga of Clinton, and Doug Housenga of Clinton; and five cousins. He was preceded in death by his four great-grandfathers and a great-grandmother.Death date: Jan. 12, 2009
