LOST NATION — Fern R. Derynck, 86, of Lost Nation, died Thursday at the Maquoketa Care Center.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lost Nation with the Rev. William Kneemiller officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lost Nation. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Lahey Funeral Home in Lost Nation where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation also will be Monday one hour before the service time at the church. Death date: Jan. 8, 2009
