CLINTON — Glenda G. Cundiff, 92, of Prairie Hills Living Center, Clinton, IA, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at the living center.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009, at the South Chapel of Lemke Funeral Homes. The Rev. John Loyd, assistant pastor of the Church of the Open Door, Clinton, IA, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service Saturday, January 10, 2009, at the South Chapel of Lemke Funeral Homes. Memorials will be established.She was born November 5, 1916, in Manhattan, MN, to Clarence and Hattie Shadoan. She attended schools in Kentucky. She married Galen Cundiff on January 6, 1937, in Sumerset, KY. He died April 1, 1987. She was a waitress with the former Tony’s Taco House and the Camanche Bowling Alley both of Camanche, IA. Survivors include three daughters, Estel (Mrs. Bill) Ziegelman of Greencastle, IN, Joyce Patenaude of Troy, MN, and Judy Starbuck of Clinton, IA; five sons, Charles (Gerldine) Cundiff of Cloverdale, IN, Raymond (Carol) Cundiff of North Carolina, James D. (Linda) Cundiff of Camanche, IA, Ronald Cundiff of Clinton, IA, and Steve Cundiff of Camanche, IA; nineteen grandchildren, sixty-seven great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren.
