THOMSON, Ill. — John E. Atkins, 61, of Thomson, died Saturday at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, Ill., with Pastor Ron Abbott officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
