The Clinton Herald April 13, 1891 Death of Frederick Lindmeier Frederick Lindmeier, for many years a resident of Hampshire township, died in Fulton Saturday, aged 65 years. The funeral was held yesterday and was largely attended, the remains being interred in the Dierks cemetery, west of Lyons. Deceased was well known through out the county, and was one of the most popular citizens of the township in which he has resided for so many years.

The Clinton Herald April 13, 1891 The funeral of Fred Lindmeier took place this morning at 10:30, with interment in the Dierks cemetery, three and one-half miles northwest of Lyons. Mr. Lindmeier had lived many years in the this vicinity, being and extensive farmer. He sold his farm lately and bought a home in Fulton, where he died a few days since.
