MORRISON, Ill. — Esther A. Wiebenga, 83, of Morrison, died Monday at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff McIlrath, pastor of Emmanuel Reformed Church in Morrison, will be officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until the funeral service time Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Reformed Church, Morrison.She was born December 13, 1924, in Morrison to Ernest and Marie Rushmeyer Landheer.She was educated in rural Whiteside County grade schools and attended Morrison High School. She married Donald E. Wiebenga on Nov. 6, 1943, in Morrison. He died Dec. 10, 1981.She was engaged in farming along with her late husband in the rural Morrison area. She was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church, Morrison.Survivors include two daughters, Janice (Richard) McCoy and Judy (Dale) Turney, both of Morrison, IL; one son, Ron (Vicki) Wiebenga of Morrison, IL; six grandchildren, Michael (Dana) McCoy, Sheila (Roger) Osborn, Staci (Ed) Stewart; Michele (Barry) Brown; Bruce (Karen) Unger, Lesley (Chad) Dever; fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Erma Zuidema of Morrison, IL, and Ruth (Ren) VanderLeest of Morrison, IL; one brother, Robert (Marian) Landheer of Morrison, IL.She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandson, Steven Lee Turney; one brother, Walter Landheer.To send online condolences go to www.bosmarenkes.com.Death date: Dec. 1, 2008
