MORRISON, Ill. — Alice C. Sinnott, 88, of Resthave Nursing Home, died Thursday at the nursing home.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison. The Rev. Father William Antillon, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison, will be officiating. There will be no visitation. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Morrison.She was born December 24, 1919, in Tarrytown, NY, to Arthur and Alice (Taxter) Brophy.She was a graduate of Tarrytown High School in Tarrytown, NY. She married John F. “Jack” Sinnott on August 11, 1946, in Tarrytown, NY. He died February 2, 2002. She was employed by General Electric of Morrison, IL, from 1955 until 1961.She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison and was an avid golfer.Survivors include one son, Jack Sinnott of Fairbury, IL; three grandsons, Mark (Jenny) Sinnott, Mykel Sinnott and Christopher Sinnott; and one sister, Mrs. Peg Norton of Croton, NY.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and one brother, Arthur Brophy.To send online condolences go to www.bosmarenkes.com.Death date: Dec. 11, 2008
