Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, May 30, for Donald E. Munger, 69, who died suddenly from heart attack at his home in Elkader on May 28. Services were conducted from the Witt funeral home with interment being made in the Eastside cemetery. Rev. David G. Howell, of the Congregational church, officiated.
Munger was born at Clayton Center on March 07, 1886, a son of George W. and Augusta Bandow Munger. Unmarried, he lived most of his life on a small farm at the eastern limits of Elkader.
He is survived by one brother, Dale W. Munger, of Manchester. His parents and another brother preceded him in death.
