MONONA: Funeral services for Mrs. I. S. Bollman, aged 56, were held Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock from the Carl G. Schultz funeral home and burial was made in the Smithfield cemetery. The Rev. W. M. Suckow of Postville conducted the services and Mrs. George Wiethorn and Mrs. Harry Klotzbach with Mrs. Kenneth W. Rash at the organ furnished the music.
Edna Mae Bollman was born May 14, 1886 at Fredricksburg, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Perkins. In early childhood the family moved to Forest Mills where she lived until her marriage to Ira Sankey Bollman on April 06, 1906. They made their home in the vicinity of Forest Mills and Frankville and both became members of the United Brethren church at Forest Mills. In 1911 they moved to Smithfield where they have since resided.
Surviving her are her bereaved husband, Sankey Bollman, two daughters Mrs. P. Price and Leatrice Bollman; and five sons, Donald, Clyde, Avery, Everett and Leo Bollman; two half brothers, William and Walter Perkins of Marshalltown and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John A. Lembke, Henry McShane, Ray J. Mitchell, Del Rose, William Powell and George Smith.
