Clayton County Register, 12 Mar. 1941.

GUTTENBERG: The body of Mrs. Emma Brown was brought to Guttenberg on Friday from Rockwell.

Mrs. Brown had been ill for several months.

Funeral services were held in St. John's Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. and the Rev. Becker officiated.

Her death is mourned by her sisters, Mrs. Alma Bechler and Mrs. Minnie Randall of Guttenberg, and three brothers, Albert and William of Guttenberg and Otto of Dubuque and her aged father Albert Sodawasser.

Burial was made in the Guttenberg Cemetery.
