Last Saturday evening after finishing up her work, Mrs. C.C. Angier complained of being tired and went to bed. She soon felt a heavy suffocation and got up and summoned assistance, calling a physician, but before he arrived she passed gently away.
The blow comes with great force to her companion in life and to her children, but they are consoled with the thought that Mother has merely gone before.
Mrs. Angier was born in New York state, February 7, 1813, where she was married to C.C. Angier.
In 1849 they moved to Clayton county, Iowa. From there in 1874 they came to Sac county and the following year to Storm Lake.
About the age of 18 Mrs. Angier united with the Baptist church and all through her almost 72 years of life has been a consistant member of that denomination. She was the mother of six children, four of whom mourn her death.
