Barmore, George died 1864

DIED - at the American House, McGregor, Iowa, January 1st, 1864, George, aged 14 years, 11 months and 15 days, son of John A. and Juliette Barmore.

This young man was accompanying his parents to Winnisheik county, Iowa, and was taken sick at Pr. du Chien about 3 weeks ago. On arriving at McGregor his afflicted parents were obliged to stop with him and from that time all medical attendance and the kindest care failed to arrest the Destroyer.

The body will be deposited in the McGregor Cemetery..

The Portage (Wis.) Record is respectfully requested to copy.
