Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the St. Paul's Lutheran church in Garnavillo for Mrs. Ella Ramming, wife of Mike Ramming of Farmersburg. The Rev. Victor Hackbarth officiated. Burial was in the Garnavillo cemetery.

Mrs. Ramming died at Mercy hospital in Dubuque, Monday, March 11, of a heart ailment.

Ella Schoetzer was born July 08, 1896, at Ceres, Iowa, the daughter of William and Catherine Eckle Schoetzer. She attended the rural schools in the community and confirmation school, being confirmed by the Rev. Bosholm and baptized by the late Rev. Seifert.

On Oct. 15, 1919, in a double wedding ceremony she was united in marriage to Michael Ramming of Garnavillo, and at the same service her sister Edna and Ernest Hehr of Prairie du Chien, Wis., were wed. Mr. and Mrs. Ramming went to housekeeping on a farm near Garnavillo where they lived until several years ago when they bought a farm near St. Olaf, which has since been their home.

She is survived by her husband, and five sisters, Mrs. Edna Cameron, Elkhorn, Wis., Mrs. Pearl Deitrich, Guttenberg, Mrs. Viola Hoth, Elkader, Mrs. Elsie Larson, Elgin and Mrs. Daisy Carrier, Guttenberg, also 17 nieces and nephews.

Flower girls were her nieces, __leen Dietrich, Lanida Hoth, Franc__ Peterson, Betty Carrier. Pallbearers were: Waldo Embretson, Roy Engelhardt, Henry Platton, William Larson, Oliver Johnson, Rueben Glawe, Charlie Schmidt and John Walker.

Those attending the funeral from (at this point a portion of this paragraph appears to be missing) on of Elkhorn, Wis.; Adam Ramming and Henry Schroeder both of Chicago.
