Elkader Register, Thur., 14 Jan. 1886. Littleport column.

Miss Lizzie Beckman, daughter of Mr. Frank Beckman, of this place, died on Wednesday, Dec. 30th, and was buried the following Saturday. The funeral was largely attended, Rev. Mr. Brauer officiating. The young lady had been ill for a long time, and at intervals hopes were entertained of her recovery. Her young life ended with the old year and we hope she passed into a brighter and happier world than this in the beginning of the new.
