Littleport- Funeral services for Fred Beckman, 73, were held Saturday at McGregor. Beckman died Wednesday, June 6, at McGregor hospital. Burial at Littleport.

Beckman, Frederick D. 1877-1951
Frederick D. Beckman, son of Frank and Dorothy Beckman was born in Littleport September 9, 1877 and passed away at the McGregor Hospital at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 1951 at the age of 73 years.He attended the Littleport school and was a stone mason by trade. He had spent all his life in Littleport.
He is survived by three brothers, Louis of Dubuque, Wm of Olimpia [sic], Washington and Charles of Gwatonia [sic], Minnesota, and one sister, Mrs. Dora Albrecht [sic] of Rapid City, S.D.
Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Lois Beckman, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Rincker and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boxleiter, all of Dubuque; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beckman, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Beckman and Mrs. Martin Meihl, all of Owatonia, Minnesota; Wm. Beckman of Olimpia [sic], Washington; Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Albrecht of Rapid City, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Beckman of Peosta and Mrs. Carl Ludgren of Morristown, Minn.
