Lau - Siebrecht marriage - 1953

Miss Valene Siebrecht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Valmah Siebrecht, became the bride of Pfc. Keith H. Lau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lau of Garnavillo, Monday, in the rectory of St. Joseph's in Elkader. The Rev. Cletus Hawes officiated. The bride's only attendant was her sister, Sharon, and Pvt. Howard Keehner, a friend of the couple served as best man.

Pvt. and Mrs. Lau will leave Saturday for Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, where they will make their home. Pfc. Lau is an instructor in the artillery school there.
