Wiley - Alderson marriage - 1957

Miss Marilyn Jean Alderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Alderson of Strawberry Point, and Roy John Wiley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Wiley of Antwerp, N.Y., were united in marriage at the Methodist church in Strawberry Point on March 23. The Rev. Wayne Carlson officiated. The bride was attended by Mrs. Nancy Adhine, a friend, and the groom's attendant was Virgil Street, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Darwin Ryan Carrol Worm and Gerald Alderson, brother of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Strawberry Point high school, 1953, and will be graduated from Iowa State college in June, 1957, from the department of home economics. The groom is a graduate of Antwerp, N.Y., high school, Alfred Technological institute, and he served in the army for several years. He is a junior student in the electrical engineering department and will graduate in June 1958.
