Miller - Vogt marriage - 1941

Miss LuNida Iola Vogt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Vogt of Farmersburg, became the bride of Eugene Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Miller of Farmersburg, Tuesday, at St. John's Lutheran church with Rev. H. M. Adix officiating. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Bandow, aunt and uncle of the groom, sang "I Love You Truly." Miss Irma Thompson, friend of the couple, was maid of honor, and Miss Eileen Marting, cousin of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. Shirley Ann Marting and Dellene Schultz, cousins of the bride, were flower girls. Lorrine Hamann, cousin of the bride acted as best man. Ray Honn, cousin of the groom was an usher.

After a trip to Florida the new couple will make their home on the groom's farm north of Farmersburg.

Mrs. Miller graduated from the Farmersburg high school and attended two years at Upper Iowa university. She is a graduate of the commercial course and a member of Pi Rho Zeta sorority. She was also an active 4-H worker. Mr. Miller is a graduate of Farmersburg high school and attended Iowa State college at Ames.
