Downey - Walz marriage - 1941

Miss Jeanette Walz, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Walz, and Laurence Downey, son of Mrs. James Downey, were married at St. Joseph's church Thursday, Jan. 09, by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. P. Taken. They were attended by Miss Florence Walz, sister of the bride, and Wilson Downey, brother of the groom.

Following a short honeymoon the young couple will make their home on a farm near Elkader.
